Leadership Position: Bookkeeper

A mid-tier bookkeeping practice seeks an experienced bookkeeper to lead a team and manage client accounts. This role offers a supportive environment for growth and development, with opportunities for advancement.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing bookkeeping processes for new clients
  • Liaising with clients and their accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Processing payroll, including superannuation and entitlements
  • Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparing and lodging BAS and GST reports
  • Assisting with month-end processes and management reporting

This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, advanced proficiency in accounting software, and knowledge of compliance requirements.
