We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility for young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained, managing day-to-day operations effectively.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of all young people, identifying and addressing any changes in behavior or needs.
  • Provide individualized support plans to help young people flourish and grow.
  • Lead and motivate a team of senior support workers and residential support workers, recognizing strengths and weaknesses and providing constructive feedback for professional development.
  • Respond proactively to safeguarding concerns, following established processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and maintain good working relationships and ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to, including risk assessments and child protection protocols.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in residential childcare.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies is highly desirable.
  • A level 5 qualification in leadership and management or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • A clear DBS certificate.
