Bakery Manager Job Summary

As a Bakery Manager, you will oversee and manage the daily production and distribution of high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires previous pastry and sourdough production experience.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications or experience as a Baker and/or Chef with prior experience as a supervisor/manager in food manufacturing. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Plan and oversee daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Produce a high volume of superior quality croissant, pastry, and sourdough products in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Product Development: Develop new product lines that align with market trends and customer needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes, and systems.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience managing a team and production schedules
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven Pastry & Sourdough production experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
