About The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Program Manager to join our team in an after school setting.

Job Description

The Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of educators. This includes developing quality programs, managing daily operations, coordinating staffing and rostering, ensuring compliance with policy, undertaking administrative requirements and working collaboratively with families and the school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children.
  • Manage the program budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and qualifications to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Completed or close to completing a relevant qualification in childcare or teaching (minimum Diploma of Children's Services).
  • Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain them.
  • Current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain one.
