Job Description:

This role involves facilitating and growing auction sales by dealing with buyers and sellers. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial individual with experience in hunting new business opportunities.

  • Secure heavy equipment consignments and fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date
  • Grow your territory through superior new business development skills and maximise consignments using established industry contacts
  • Consign equipment to any Euro Auctions sale site around the world, maximising earning potential

Key Activities:

The candidate must possess excellent negotiation skills, be able to spot opportunities and act upon them, and have experience in hunting new business opportunities using current and innovative techniques.

  • A machinery enthusiast with an entrepreneurial nature who can maximise sales from new and existing customers
  • Experienced in creating demand for consigned heavy equipment
  • A self-starter who can work independently
  • An excellent communicator who can build rapport and attract buyers and sellers to our auctions

Required Skills:

  • A proven sales record with minimum 2 years' experience in the Construction, Agriculture, Transport Sector, or associated industries
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Attendance at relevant auctions
  • An already established network of contacts within the industry
