About the Role

This Disability Support Worker role is an excellent opportunity to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to participants to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Building rapport with participants and engaging them in activities that promote personal development and modelling skills;
  2. Identifying and completing tasks that support participant goals, in line with service framework agreements and/or intervention plans;
  3. Collaborating with participants, families, and other services to implement and evaluate support strategies;
  4. Ensuring participant satisfaction and optimizing the use of NDIS funding;
  5. Providing education and support to participants on NDIA processes and disability-related services;
  6. Liaising with other professions to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to participant care;
