Job Description

As a Direct Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals from all walks of life. Your dedication and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

You will be responsible for assisting with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and toileting. You will also administer medications and support mobility using hoists and slide sheets. Additionally, you will help with domestic duties like cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.

Engage clients in community activities, from grocery shopping to social outings. Build strong relationships with your clients and their families, providing a supportive environment that fosters growth and independence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We seek adaptable, creative team members who are excellent communicators and listeners. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining professionalism while providing personal care with dignity.

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Commitment to infection control measures
