About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Public Relations team in Sydney. As a key member of our Government and NFP team, you will be responsible for independently managing the implementation of ongoing pre-agreed activity involved in the basic day-to-day running of accounts within Dentsu Creative Public Relation's Government and NFP pillar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with managers and team leadership to help plan and execute comprehensive behaviour change strategies.
- Assist in developing and executing comprehensive public relations and communications programmes.
- Build strong client relationships, leading regular client communication and WIPs to provide insights and strategic solutions for our clients.
- Monitor media coverage.
- Ability to write across a range of materials including press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and reports.
About You:
- You should have a good understanding of what makes news, how to develop story angles and be able to confidently develop all forms of communication/PR materials to a high standard.
- You should have the confidence and experience to provide your clients with strategic counsel on day-to-day issues, knowing when to seek input from more senior staff.
- You should also be capable of identifying, understanding and satisfying your clients' needs and resolve problems where required.
