The Department of Education is seeking qualified candidates to fill permanent and fixed-term vacancies for Middle Years Teachers.

Applicants will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance student behavior and promote a positive school culture.

  • Implement effective strategies to improve student behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that cater to students' diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the seamless delivery of the curriculum, guided by the Whole School Pedagogical Framework.

As an Apple Distinguished School with a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) iPad program, our staff are expected to utilize technology to create engaging learning experiences. Proficiency in ICT and iPads is highly desirable.

To be considered, you must:

  • hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • obtain a WA Working with Children Check before commencing; and
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing.
