The Role: Restaurant Supervisor at Sailmaker


Sailmaker, a 272-seat dining destination, offers a unique local dining experience. Our restaurant serves a la carte breakfast, buffet breakfast, and Seafarer Dinner, showcasing New South Wales' finest produce sourced locally and fresh.


As the Sailmaker Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations support to the Assistant Managers and Outlets Manager. In this fast-paced environment, your key responsibilities will include:



  • Supervising the operations of Sailmaker restaurant, developing a comprehensive knowledge of all service periods
  • Providing exceptional quality service to guests throughout their dining experience
  • Fostering a collaborative team environment among colleagues
  • Working with the Assistant Manager to create fortnightly rosters
  • Participating in stock takes and inventory checks
  • Maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction by handling complaints effectively and escalating issues as necessary
  • Implementing training programs and initiatives within the restaurant

Your Key Qualifications



  • One year of experience in a similar role or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and enthusiasm for career development
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including early morning shifts, evening shifts, and weekends
  • Unrestricted, valid working rights in Australia
  • A valid NSW RSA certification
