Job Title: Dietitian

At Healthscope, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based nutritional assessment and management of patients in an acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Supervise and mentor undergraduate students to ensure their growth and development as future healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical nutrition and dietetics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for full membership and APD status with the Dietitians Association of Australia.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in acute hospital settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
