Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. As an Apprentice Upholsterer, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and maintaining materials for seats, curtains, and flooring on our train carriages.

  • Design and manufacture of materials for seats, curtains, and flooring
  • Sourcing trimming supplies and liaising with the Rollingstock and Component Services group
  • Maintenance of trimming shop tools and equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail for precise cuts and neat finishes
  • Good spatial awareness for fitting materials
  • A willingness to learn safety standards and regulations
  • The ability to follow a roster that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
