Position Overview

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the effective management of landscape maintenance projects. Your responsibilities will encompass all facets of site management, including planning, resource allocation, client interaction, and team oversight. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in horticulture, outstanding organizational capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor a team, ensuring that client expectations are met with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Organize and coordinate maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, fertilizing, and pest management, adhering to client guidelines and seasonal needs.
  • Perform site evaluations to determine maintenance requirements, create work plans, and assess resource needs.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences, resolve issues, and offer suggestions for improving the beauty and health of their outdoor spaces.
  • Manage the inventory of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are available and well-maintained for operational needs.
  • Implement and uphold safety measures to maintain a secure working environment for all team members.

Candidate Profile

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with a proven track record of motivating and developing team members.
