Position Overview

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the effective management of landscaping maintenance contracts. Your responsibilities will encompass all facets of site management, including scheduling, resource allocation, client interaction, and team oversight. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in horticulture, exceptional organizational abilities, and a track record of leading and inspiring a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and mentor a team, offering support and direction to ensure client satisfaction is achieved efficiently.
  • Organize and plan maintenance tasks, such as planting, trimming, hedge maintenance, fertilization, and pest management, in accordance with client requirements and seasonal considerations.
  • Perform site evaluations to determine maintenance needs, formulate work plans, and assess resource necessities.
  • Engage with clients to grasp their preferences, resolve issues, and provide suggestions for improving the visual appeal and vitality of their gardens.
  • Oversee the inventory of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring readiness and proper upkeep to facilitate operational tasks.
  • Establish and uphold safety measures to guarantee a secure working environment for all team members.

Candidate Profile

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with a proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
