About The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is a leading social service organisation in Australia, providing a range of services to support vulnerable members of our community. As a Team Leader for the Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) program, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality case management and service coordination to individuals experiencing homelessness.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Intensive Case Managers and the Peer Settlement Support Worker.
  • Collaborate with the J2SI Manager and ELC team to achieve program targets and quality frameworks.
  • Support clients in maintaining tenancies and pursuing employment, education, and training opportunities.
  • Maintain partnerships with local agencies and organisations to support the J2SI First Nations Worker.

What You Need To Succeed
  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, or a related field, and/or relevant management experience.
  • Knowledge of the housing sector, including principles, policies, regulation, and legislation.
  • Understanding of homelessness models, approaches, theories, and practices.
  • Awareness of interrelated issues affecting individuals experiencing financial hardship or crisis.
  • Experience working with stakeholders, including government representatives.
