Leisure and Lifestyle Co-ordinator

We are seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Co-ordinator to lead the development of exceptional lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing and foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

The successful candidate will provide mentorship to Lifestyle Assistants and support them in their role to maintain smooth daily running of the program.

This is an opportunity for someone who puts compassion, connection, and caring for others at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement leisure and lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing and foster a vibrant community atmosphere.
  • Provide mentorship to Lifestyle Assistants and support them in their role to maintain smooth daily running of the program.
  • Aspire to provide exceptional care and services to residents, focusing on relationships over routines.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience in an aged care home, developing leisure and lifestyle programs including working with people with dementia.
  • Good leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) is mandatory.
