About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to work collaboratively with our Data team and subject matter experts to refine complex problems that can be solved through scientific thinking, algorithms, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Immerse yourself in large datasets, extracting insights and contributing to our shared understanding of their value.
  • Apply sound scientific methods (i.e. hypothesis generation, experimentation, analysis) to drive product development (e.g. model development, model evaluation, POC design).
  • Lead in hypothesis driven experimentation and deliver measurable impact through rigorous testing.
  • Collaborate with other scientists and engineers to produce high-quality, reproducible code.
Requirements:
  • Previous practical experience in a similar analytics role.
  • Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R).
  • Bachelor's, Masters, or Ph.D in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Able to grasp complex mathematical concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor messages for peers and stakeholders.
