Our team is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and delivering high-quality video content for our news programs using AVID Media Composer.
You will work closely with editorial teams to ensure timely delivery of edited material while maintaining the highest technical standards.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Editing video content for broadcast, including voiceovers, grabs, overlay, and packages
  • Compiling vision for archive and ensuring edited material is delivered correctly
  • Escalating technical problems to the supervisor or engineering team
  • Maintaining high technical standards and meeting deadlines

To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • Tertiary qualifications or professional experience in media, TV production, or communications
  • Proficiency in editing software; AVID Media Composer experience is an asset
  • Technical knowledge of media file formats and compression codecs
  • Dedication, professionalism, flexibility, and a proactive approach
