We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Financial Reporting & Analysis team.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to make a meaningful contribution to the success of our organisation by providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

About the Role

The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial data to deliver actionable insights, driving process improvement, standardisation, and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the team, and supporting the Finance Business Partner in preparing monthly financial reports.

You will also contribute to the development and refinement of financial dashboards and reporting tools, assist with preparing scheduled reports for stakeholders, and support the budgeting and forecasting processes across directorates and cost centres.

In addition, you will perform month-end processing tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as required, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder value.

As a key member of our Financial Reporting & Analysis team, you will collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members to support the achievement of Directorate-specific financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Analysis: Prepare and analyse financial data to deliver actionable insights
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement, standardisation, and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the team
  • Financial Reporting: Support the Finance Business Partner in preparing monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and executive commentary
  • Financial Dashboards: Contribute to the development and refinement of financial dashboards and reporting tools
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across directorates and cost centres
  • Month-End Processing: Perform month-end processing tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as required

What You'll Need:

  • Financial Analysis Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and team members
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
