Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Consultant to join our team. As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and documenting technical design solutions for physical and electronic security.

You will provide security design and compliance advice to engineering and architecture teams on exciting projects. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients receive high-quality security solutions that meet their needs.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project solutions to program and budget. You will also build and maintain trust-based, long-term professional relationships with clients across all levels.

Mentoring junior security professionals in the team is also an essential part of this role. Opportunities to develop your project leadership and management skills will also be available.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Electrical, electronics, ICT, telecommunications or computer systems engineering background is desired. More than 8+ years' experience in security consulting; advising on physical and electronic security, including design, developing reports and specifications, is a must.

Must hold a current Australian Government security clearance and have the ability to obtain relevant security licences across Australia. A passion for helping organisations assess and deliver security, risk, strategy and technology is essential.

A proactive, professional, collaborative and personable approach is required. Possessing a client mindset with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely is also a necessity.

Familiarity with Defence security requirements, SCEC and Security construction compliance audits and inspections, and security qualifications or certificates (such as ASIS International CPP or PSP) are highly desirable.

Experience in the Revit modelling environment is also beneficial.
