Job Title: Child Development SpecialistAbout the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Mt Atkinson Children's Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0-5 years.

Your role will involve working collaboratively with your colleagues to develop and implement engaging and inclusive learning experiences that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the individual needs of children;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver learning experiences;
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff;
  • Monitor and report on child progress and development;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent);
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards;
  • Current Working with Children Check;
  • Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate;
