Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We seek a seasoned attorney to provide expert legal guidance on structuring complex financial instruments and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess 8-12 years of experience in financial markets law, with expertise in derivatives, FICC, and/or swaps products.

  • Provide commercial legal advice on structuring complex financial products
  • Legal analysis of company obligations
  • Work on regulatory and legal matters across areas including financial services, corporate, commercial, competition, technology, intellectual property, information security, privacy, and marketing
  • Responding to regulatory queries

Candidates will work closely with senior management to develop and implement compliance practices and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Suitable experience includes:

  • Financial markets law with expertise in derivatives, FICC, and/or swaps products
  • Experience operating at a senior level in financial markets from an in-house, private practice, or regulatory context
  • Understanding of the legal, operational, compliance, and regulatory issues arising in financial markets
  • Ability to leverage personal and professional networks to drive business results
