Financial Services Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned attorney with extensive superannuation expertise to join our client, a growing financial services business, on a 12-month contract.
The Role
In this position, you will report directly to the General Counsel & Head of Compliance and collaborate with the team in shaping the superannuation legal function, encompassing product development, regulatory matters, transactions, and daily legal requirements.
Key Qualifications
- Senior-level professional with comprehensive superannuation experience from top-tier law firms, coupled with in-house expertise.
- Detailed knowledge of superannuation legislation, compliance, and governance principles.
- Proven track record working closely with senior management and boards within the financial sector.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment effectively.
