Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents to exercise choice and independence.\
  • Contribute to the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs and wants of residents through assessment and observation.\
  • Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse and as documented in the resident's plan of care.\
  • Assist residents with their personal care and hygiene needs while encouraging their independence.\

About You:

We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • \
  • Certificate III in individual support or equivalent recognised qualification.\
  • Ability to engage with residents and experience in dementia support.\
  • Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.\
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.\
  • Demonstrated flexibility, empathy, and patience with the aged person and their needs.\
  • Demonstrated ability to provide holistic care.\
  • Demonstrated respect for residents' privacy, dignity, and self-esteem.\
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.\
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.\
