Compassionate Patient Caregiver

Job Description:

A compassionate patient caregiver position is available in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  2. Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor patients' responses to treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., critical care, pediatrics, oncology).
  • Proven experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
