Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Kinexus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of federal government cyber laws and regulations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners in the defence and federal government sectors
  • Lead project and program execution planning, ensuring alignment with client goals
  • Assist with cyber governance and compliance, ensuring best practices are implemented
  • Track and analyze industry trends, including information assurance, cryptographic, and relevant programs
  • Develop and execute capture strategies to drive business growth
  • Establish and maintain best-practice capture processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor and track key government policies, changes, and trends
  • Support the General Manager in stakeholder relationship management, ensuring strong partnerships are maintained
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development, with a focus on defence and federal government sectors
  • Established network within the defence industry, with a strong understanding of cyber initiatives
  • Experience working in the cyber industry, with a focus on business development and growth
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
  • Masters degree in Engineering, Sales, or Business, with a focus on cybersecurity and business development
  • Active NV2 clearance, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
