Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on IT system security issues, managing and developing ICT system security activities, and achieving an Authority to Operate (ATO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Develop ICT System Security Activities: Develop and implement ICT system security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational assets.
  • Provide Expert Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance on IT system security issues, including risk assessments, threat and vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Lead the Application and Compliance of Security Operations Procedures: Lead the application and compliance of security operations procedures, including the review of information systems for actual or potential security controls to achieve ATO.
  • Negotiate with ICT Engineers and ICT Security: Negotiate with ICT engineers and ICT security in the development and approval of Concept of Operations, System Security Plans, and Executive Briefs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in ICT Security Activities: Demonstrable experience in ICT security activities with a focus on Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • High Level of Knowledge on ICT Security Threat and Risk Assessments: High level of knowledge on ICT security threat and risk assessments and the ability to recommend mitigation/remediation strategies.
  • Experience in Production of Complex Technical Documentation: Experience in production of complex technical documentation.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Formal Training/Professional Certification: Formal training/professional certification (e.g. IRAP Assessors).
