Job Title: Salesforce Developer - Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team as a Technical Lead. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of customized solutions using Salesforce technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Development: Develop customized solutions using Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning Design System.
  • Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other applications and systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and workflow.
  • Testing: Develop and execute unit and system tests to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Refinement: Continuously refine and improve developed solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and productivity using Salesforce, and develop recommendations to support business growth.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management processes to ensure smooth deployment of new applications and code updates.
  • Documentation: Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and documentation, including wikis and user stories.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on technical leadership and development.
  • Skills: Strong business analysis and functional development experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and deploying solutions to end users.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical Project Management: Some experience with technical project management is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications consistent with 6 years' experience are preferred.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL/SOQL, Java/C++/OOP is preferred.

Location and Contract Term:

  • Location: Ballarat, Melbourne (No Remote Workers)
  • Contract Term: 7-month initial contract with possible extension.

  • Working Rights: Full working rights and the ability to obtain an Australian police check are required.
