We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to support families in need, providing intensive family support tailored to the needs of children, young people, and their families.
This role involves implementing evidence-based interventions, including parenting strategies and practical life skills coaching, as well as supporting families to access community resources, education, and employment pathways.
The successful candidate will have experience working with frameworks such as Circle of Security, Parents under Pressure, Safe and Together, and Shark Cage, and will be able to conduct home visits and engage in early intervention strategies to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide family support services that cater to the unique needs of each family.
- Implement effective interventions to promote positive change within families.
- Build relationships with local service providers and government agencies to ensure seamless delivery of support services.
- Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with organisational requirements.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of families, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
A full shift pattern is required, including evenings and sleepovers. A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle are also necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.).
- Experience working with young people/children.
- Experience working in related fields, i.e. Family Support, Child Safety, family development and other Family related roles.
