Environmental Scientist Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Scientist to join our Confluence Water team. This role will play a critical part in delivering projects related to contaminated land assessment and remediation.

  • Provide technical guidance to junior staff on field sampling programs and contamination assessment report writing.
  • Develop and implement environmental management documents.
  • Work with clients to deliver project outcomes and build relationships that secure repeat work.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and execution of moderately complex projects.
  • Preparation and implementation of key environmental and contamination management documents.
  • Leading simple and moderately complex pursuits and providing support as a bid team member for more complex opportunities.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional or consultancy experience, particularly in contaminated land assessment.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and technical elements related to contaminated land.
