At People-Intelligence, we're looking for a skilled Business Collections Specialist to join our team. As a dynamic FinTech provider, we offer a range of financial services to the non-bank market, partnering with Australian businesses across various industries.

This role is focused on managing delinquent client accounts in line with our corporate collections strategies. You'll work closely with external stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of queries, maintain accurate client files, and minimize losses by adhering to our collection processes.

The Key Responsibilities:

- Regular review of the delinquent portfolio to ensure effective workflow management and adherence to timely collections processes
- Negotiating suitable payment plans and settlements with clients
- Resolving internal and external client queries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining accurate client files to ensure reporting accuracy across the portfolio
- Referencing matters for enforcement in line with collections processes

To be Successful in This Role:

- 1+ years' experience in Commercial Collections within financial services, preferably in a non-bank environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as AML/KYC and the Privacy Act
- Proven relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders and strong customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and task-oriented time management skills
- A team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
