High Performance Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in re-architecting the Storage Layer.
Key Responsibilities- Develop secure cloud-native storage solutions to ensure high performance and availability.
- Implement and operate production-ready applications in Rust.
- Diagnose test failures and implement fixes to improve system reliability.
- Lead development and project management for large initiatives.
- Design, implement, test, and support new features related to Storage Layer Services.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to define product roadmaps.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed software systems.
- Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming and performance profiling.
- Experience with distributed systems and database internals.
- Proven experience in building, deploying, and operating cloud services with a focus on operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience in developing performance-sensitive software.
- Experience with large backend/compiled codebases, preferably in Rust or C/C++.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to assess project complexity.
