Legal Expertise OpportunitiesAbout the Role

We are seeking accomplished legal professionals to join our General Counsel team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing legal cases across teams and the organization. Your expertise will involve analysing, interpreting, and applying legislation, policies, practices, and precedents to provide strategic recommendations and manage legal risks.

The role requires provision of legal advice, obtaining information, discussing cases, and influencing stakeholders to adopt legally sound approaches. You will also contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues and apply your knowledge in providing legal guidance to various stakeholders.

In this position, you will identify, evaluate, and manage complex issues and take ownership of actions taken. The roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in various locations within the metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret legislation, policies, practices, and precedents to inform decision-making.
  • Provide legal advice and support to stakeholders.
  • Manage legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement legal solutions.
