Senior Legal Counsel

About the Role

Our team is seeking an experienced lawyer to provide legal services and support across multiple business units. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing high-level legal advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial agreements, including master services agreements, software licenses, and other bespoke contracts.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology and commercial contracts to meet industry standards.
  • Support group transformation projects, outsourcing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate restructures, and regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior counsel and experienced professionals to drive company initiatives forward.
Requirements
  • Admitted as a legal practitioner in Australia with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Private practice or in-house experience involving technology contracting, outsourcing, and general commercial vendor contract reviews and negotiations is highly valued.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and draft complex contracts.
  • Familiarity with technology law, operational risk management regulations, privacy, and data protection is highly desirable.
