Occupational Therapist Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' functional abilities and daily routines.

  • Support clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
  • Apply mental health-informed strategies including stress management and sensory regulation.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress to ensure clients achieve meaningful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in mental health, rehabilitation, or community care.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful client and colleague relationships.
