At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in the effective delivery of our IBM Planning Analytics system. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.

Job OverviewThe Senior Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and administering the system, developing financial models and reports, ensuring data integrity, and providing ERP finance administration support. This includes maintaining backups, upgrading the system, managing user licenses, and delivering effective user support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and administer the IBM Planning Analytics system, ensuring its smooth operation and efficient management.
  • Develop and support financial models and reports for group reporting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Ensure data integrity by updating finance data cubes, aligning with source systems, and managing access controls.
  • Provide ERP finance administration support, including cost centre setup, reporting hierarchies, and month-end close activities.
  • Manage network access controls for finance systems and shared drives.
  • Deliver effective user support, resolve system issues, and coordinate IBM Planning Analytics training.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 9 years' experience supporting IBM Planning Analytics or similar multi-dimensional database systems.
  • At least 5 years' experience writing code to deliver operational efficiencies.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience providing ERP finance administration support.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Finance or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
