Job Title: Safety and Compliance Officer

Purpose of Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading food services company as a Safety and Compliance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of workplace health and safety strategies and objectives within your regional area of responsibility.

You will assist in building relationships between Area/Branch Management and Health and Safety Representatives, acting as a point of contact for all initiatives and concerns. You will lead by example and eliminate all unsafe practices, working with individuals and management to identify best practice techniques.

The role also involves assisting with the development and implementation of branch WHS procedures and plans aligned to the company's strategic objectives. You will identify risks likely to cause harm and develop / implement procedures to allow safe operating practices.
