Accounts Payable Officer

This position is responsible for processing and payment of supplier invoices.

  • Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure invoices are correct and paid on time.
  • Prepare and process weekly EFT batches and ad hoc payments.
  • Maintain and update vendor database.

Requirements:

  • Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and interpersonal skills to manage tasks and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
  • Certificate IV in Business Finance, Administration, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years practical experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience in using accounting software and databases.
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Experience using ACCPAC or SAGE is highly desirable.

Benefits:

  • A base salary of $75,951 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900.
  • Meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
  • District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents.
  • 5 weeks annual leave and leave loading, 18 days personal leave;
  • Paid Christmas close down;
  • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961.
