Program Leadership Opportunity

A seasoned leader with a passion for international development and strategic excellence is sought to lead the Australian Volunteers Program as a Deputy Program Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage high-level leadership skills to manage overseas operations, driving desired outcomes and consistent performance across all program countries.
  • Oversight of regional and country level planning, program delivery, partnership development, knowledge exchange, and effective volunteer management.
  • Elevate the Australian Government's priorities in overseas program activities, ensuring alignment and incorporation.
  • Foster an achievement-oriented culture, delivering quality outcomes and responsive support services.

The ideal candidate has experience in senior management roles, including team leadership and strategic advice. They will possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, stakeholder management abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and leadership and people management expertise.
