Global Engagement and Partnerships Manager Role

This pivotal opportunity shapes and advances our global strategy in the Faculty of Science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic partnership development: Identify, assess, and grow global partnerships that advance research, education, and engagement priorities.
  • Coordinate international activities: Manage delegations, events, and agreements ensuring alignment with University policies and compliance frameworks.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on international initiatives, working closely with partners to coordinate and align engagement activities.
  • Support continuous improvement: Develop policies, track global trends, and embed a culture of innovation across the international engagement portfolio.
  • Mentor and supervise the International Engagement Coordinator, supporting capability development and performance.
Requirements:
  • A postgraduate qualification in international engagement, global strategy, or higher education management is required.
  • Demonstrated success managing international partnerships in complex environments is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning capabilities are required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive data-informed approach are essential.
  • Familiarity with the Australian higher education sector and international education policy trends is desirable.
