VTG Waste & Recycling is a leader in sustainable waste management solutions. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Workshop Administrator to join our dedicated maintenance team.
About the Role:
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the workshop runs efficiently by handling administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, maintaining records and supporting the workshop team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and equipment maintenance
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating work for mechanics and technicians
- Process service cards, purchase orders, and invoices
- Liaise with suppliers for parts and service bookings
- Monitor stock levels and order workshop supplies as needed
- Maintain and update workshop documentation and databases
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with previous experience in an administrative role (experience in a workshop or similar environment is highly desirable). You should possess strong organisational and time management skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency with inventory or workshop management software. A strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is also essential.
