Western Truck Group (WTG) Darwin has an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor to join our team. You will be a key stakeholder in a well-supported structure, working closely with the Workshop Team.

About the role

You will be responsible for:

  • Safety
  • Apprentice Development particularly key
  • Workshop presentation and cleanliness
  • Ensuring appropriately skilled technicians are allocated to suitable work
  • Ensuring available technician hours are allocated correctly
  • Ensuring jobs are completed in the allocated hours
  • Ensuring hours are recorded correctly to job cards, with appropriate explanations
  • Minimizing the time technicians are waiting or unproductive
  • Upon completion of work, ensure work is carried out to a high standard
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of parts into workshop
  • Ensuring workshop paperwork and admin is of highest quality
  • Enable continuous communication between technicians, administration and the customer
