Senior Actuarial Consultant

Marsh & McLennan Companies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Consultant to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our Marsh Advisory team, you will be responsible for delivering actuarial services to our clients and leading complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage diverse and complex projects, including IFRS 17 and Actuarial Reserving Technical Pricing and Insurance Programme Optimisation.
  • Apply advanced actuarial modeling skills to deliver end-to-end client engagements and communicate key insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and manage trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.
  • Work on a wide range of ASX100 client projects, gaining exposure to various clients across all industries and business challenges.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Degree qualification in a related field, such as Actuarial Studies, Data Science, Statistics, or other relevant technical field.
  • Well-rounded and able to communicate effectively, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a team mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
