Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Guidance: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Actuarial team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Pricing and Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of pricing and financial management, including experience analysis, insurance policy liability valuations, and regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate complex actuarial models and analysis results to stakeholders at all levels within the organization and to external parties.
- Thought Leadership: Drive innovation and thought leadership in the establishment of and adherence to pricing and valuation policy, methodology, assumptions, and models that support our Insurance products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely delivery of quarterly and annual APRA regulatory reports, including analysis, insights, and review, while maintaining compliance with our risk management framework.
We're looking for a seasoned actuarial professional with significant experience in a senior role within the Life Insurance industry. You'll have excellent analytical skills, effective communication skills, and a strong understanding of the Group Life Insurance market. Your leadership skills and business acumen will enable you to innovate and drive strategic growth within our organization.
- Actuarial Qualifications: Hold a degree in business or a related discipline with actuarial qualifications (FIAA or equivalent).
- Industry Knowledge: Possess detailed knowledge of the Group Life Insurance market, including a strong understanding of legal frameworks surrounding contracts, policies, and confidentiality of personal and/or medical information.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership skills in a large, complex APRA-regulated organizational setting.
