Telecommunications Construction Project Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Construction Project Lead with expertise in navigating complex relationships and dependencies. The ideal candidate will have experience working in telecommunications construction environments, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects from conception through design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee large-scale design and delivery programs, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards are met.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge: Have in-depth understanding of interplay between power infrastructure, contract management, vendor management, internal business units, and relevant authorities.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert guidance on building design, acquisition, and property-related matters, including interactions with contract management.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Civil Construction Experience: Possess knowledge of property management and town planning for development projects; experience in civil construction with a trade certificate or related qualification.
    • Strong Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate proven negotiation skills at all levels.
    • Effective Leadership: Showcase ability to effectively oversee diverse projects, mentoring and instructing team members in project management aspects.
    • Commercial Contract Processes: Have extensive knowledge of commercial contract processes, procedures, and approvals associated with constructing and maintaining buildings.
    • Construction Aspects: Understand construction aspects, regulatory requirements, site sharing, and property acquisition directly linked to mobile telecommunications networks.
