About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to join our Marketing team, driving the visual direction of multi-channel design projects and campaigns (Digital & Print). As a key member of our creative team, you will ensure a cohesive visual experience across all platforms, aligning with our brand and marketing strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing concept and campaign ideas with the marketing team;
  • Leading graphic design across marketing communications, including advertising, EDMs, digital assets for advertising and social media, website, printed collateral, press releases, and event support material;
  • Preparing print-ready files and overseeing the quality of print runs, including proofreading, print proof approval, and press checks;
  • Optimizing artwork for digital applications, including photo editing, retouching, and curation;
  • Managing visual libraries, including Sharepoint, Dropbox, and Vimeo, and being responsible for regular backups;
  • Providing content updates and design recommendations for the website;
  • Developing digital animations and exploring new technologies and applications for use to promote Armadillo products;
  • Gathering production quotes for print collateral and other marketing materials and negotiating best price and quality;
  • Ensuring timely and budget-friendly production of marketing collateral;
  • Managing print production with suppliers;
  • Oversight of Content Creator's outputs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in graphic design, art director, or content producer positions;
  • Experience producing engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube);
  • Experience using After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, and Illustrator;
  • A love for interior design, architecture, graphic design, photography, and video;
  • An exceptional team player, able to accept and take feedback on board while maintaining a positive growth mindset;
  • A good understanding of branding and working with brand style guides;
  • A strong knowledge of typography, the fundamentals of design, and best design and typography practices;
  • The ability to manage your own workload, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality or attention to detail;
  • Ability to identify the latest trends and viral moments, and jump on these opportunities as soon as they arise;
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices to help drive engagement;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
