Job Overview

Mechanical trade engineering is a highly skilled profession that involves designing, building and maintaining mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespeople with various rebuilds and repairs
  • Conduct inspections and repairs on plant and equipment
  • Complete requisition sheets to maintain inventory levels
  • Follow workshop procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Report any issues affecting Engineering Workshop operations immediately to the leading hand
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Manual driver's license (an advantage)
  • Able to work at heights
  • Year 10 Certificate (completion)
