Clinical Mental Health Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinical Educator to join our team in Broken Hill, NSW. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for promoting a learning culture that supports innovative practice across the mental health portfolio.
Job Description:- Develop and deliver educational programs for healthcare professionals, focusing on mental health clinical practice and education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement competency-based training initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of educational resources, including online modules and workshops.
- Provide guidance and support to healthcare professionals in their professional development.
- A current authority to practice as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification, or 3 years of clinical experience in mental health nursing and education.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of teaching and facilitation in adult learning principles within the healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills to individuals or in group settings using the practice development framework.
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment processes.
- Computer literacy including planning documents, reporting schedules, and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Word; ability to pull data from hospital systems to inform educational resources.
- Clean and current driving license and the ability to travel as required by the role.
