The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Acting as a positive role model and promoting a culture of learning and innovation within our team.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care and education.
- Contributing to the development of educational programs and resources that support the needs of our patients and staff.
- Providing exposure to work across different areas of mental health nursing, including drug and alcohol services.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current Authority to Practice as a registered nurse with the relevant professional body.
- A relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification or 3 years of clinical experience in mental health nursing and education.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Understanding of teaching and facilitation principles, with experience in adult learning environments.
- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills, in individuals or group settings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment processes.
- Computer literacy, including planning documents, reporting schedules, and Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Word.
- A clean and current driving license and the ability to travel as required by the role.
