Eating Disorders Specialist

Mental health clinicians play a pivotal role in providing support to individuals struggling with eating disorders. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to offer clinical and consultative services to patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working with adults suffering from eating disorders, coupled with strong communication skills. They must also be capable of implementing evidence-based interventions while fostering effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
About the Position:This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to enhancing services for adults dealing with eating disorders across the district. As a mental health clinician, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to develop and implement best practices.
You will provide clinical leadership and supervision to fellow clinicians, as well as support the growth of capacity within the workforce. This role requires superior communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive clinical and consultative services to patients and their families
- Develop and implement tailored evidence-based interventions

- Support the expansion of capacity within the workforce
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, occupational therapy)
